At Baumann Jewellers, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, this policy explains your rights and the process for returning eligible items purchased through our website.
Your Right to Cancel (EU Customers)
If you purchase goods from Baumann Jewellers online as a consumer within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason, unless a legal exemption applies.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can:
- Submit a return or cancellation request through your Baumann Jewellers customer account using our online self-service returns and cancellation feature.
- Contact us by email at info@baumannjewellers.com.
Once your request has been submitted, you will receive confirmation by email. If your request is eligible, we will provide instructions on how to return your item.
Eligible items must be returned to us within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
Returns
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for a refund, returned items must:
- Be unused and unworn.
- Be in their original condition.
- Be returned in their original packaging.
- Include proof of purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item has been worn, damaged, altered or returned in a condition that makes it unsuitable for resale.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items cannot be returned or cancelled unless they are faulty, damaged or not as described:
- Personalised jewellery.
- Engraved jewellery.
- Custom-made jewellery.
- Bespoke rings.
- Special-order items.
- Gift Cards.
- Earrings where the LOX Hygiene Seal has been removed or is no longer intact.
- Any products excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer legislation.
For hygiene reasons, earrings may only be returned where the original LOX Hygiene Seal remains fully intact.
Return Shipping
Unless your item is faulty, incorrect or otherwise covered by your statutory consumer rights, you are responsible for the cost of returning your item.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, particularly for higher value jewellery. Baumann Jewellers cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable number of working days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Where required by applicable consumer law, any original standard delivery charges paid will also be refunded.
Returning an Online Order to Our Store
Online purchases may also be returned to our Dungarvan store.
Please bring your proof of purchase when returning your item.
Eligible items will be inspected before a refund is processed to the original payment method. If preferred, you may choose an exchange or credit note instead, where applicable.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged, is faulty or is not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at info@baumannjewellers.com.
Where appropriate, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at info@baumannjewellers.com before returning it.
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Sale Items
Sale items are covered by the same statutory consumer rights as full-priced items unless they fall within one of the legal exemptions from the right of withdrawal.
Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item.
If the gift was delivered to the purchaser before being given to you, any eligible refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received your refund:
- Check your bank account.
- Contact your credit card provider, as refunds may take time to appear.
- Contact your bank, as processing times can vary.
